About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Grade 4 EVS (Environmental Studies) Teacher to guide young learners in exploring science, nature, and social environments. In this role, you will create interactive, real-world lessons that turn foundational environmental concepts into exciting learning experiences. You will nurture curiosity, sustainability, and critical thinking to help students build a strong foundation for understanding the world around them.

Key Responsibilities

Design and conduct hands-on EVS lessons using experiments, visual aids, and nature-based activities.
Evaluate student understanding through interactive projects, quizzes, and constructive performance feedback.
Maintain an inclusive, well-managed classroom environment that encourages student curiosity and teamwork.
Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and school leadership to support student academic and personal growth.

Skills Required

Strong understanding of Grade 4 EVS curriculum and experiential teaching techniques
Ability to explain environmental and scientific concepts through simple, creative activities
Patient classroom management and active student engagement skills
Clear communication and active listening abilities for child and parent interaction
Basic proficiency with educational technology, smartboards, and visual learning aids

Eligibility

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.), Environmental Science, or a related field
Certification: Valid teaching license or state teaching accreditation
Experience: 1–3 years of experience teaching primary school EVS or Science
